Terms & Conditions
We believe travel should be built on trust. These terms exist to protect your investment and our local partners, without any hidden traps. By booking with Tanzavista, you agree to the following straightforward guidelines.

1. Booking & Payments
To secure your dates and local guides, we require a 20% deposit. The remaining balance is only due 60 days before you arrive. This gives us the confidence to lock in your lodges and transport, and gives you time to plan.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Life happens. If you need to cancel more than 60 days before your trip, we will refund everything except the 20% deposit (which covers our upfront costs). Cancellations between 30 and 60 days receive a 50% refund. If you cancel within 30 days, we generally cannot offer a refund as lodges and guides will have been fully paid, but we will always do our absolute best to help you reschedule if possible.
3. Travel Insurance
Nature is unpredictable. We require all guests to carry comprehensive travel and medical insurance (including emergency evacuation coverage). This ensures that if your flight is delayed, or you need medical attention on the mountain, you are fully protected.
4. Our Responsibility & Risks
We take full pride in organizing every detail of your journey to deliver an incredible, authentic Tanzanian experience. While we meticulously vet and coordinate with our trusted local lodges and transport partners, a safari remains a genuine wilderness adventure. As such, we cannot control the unpredictable nature of wild animals, weather events, or unexpected logistical delays from third-party services. We are here to support you at every step, but ask that you embrace the journey with an adventurous and adaptable spirit!
5. Privacy & Cookies
We respect your privacy just as much as we respect the land. We use essential local storage and cookies purely to remember your language preferences and to gather basic, anonymous analytics so we can improve our website. We do not sell your data. Ever.
6. Itinerary Adjustments
The best moments in Tanzania are often unscripted. Sometimes heavy rains or wildlife movements mean we need to adjust a route for your safety and experience. We reserve the right to make these necessary changes, always prioritizing your safety and the quality of your journey.
